If you asked most preschoolers through fifth graders whether they’d rather explore an exhibit or simply read about it, the answer is almost always the same—they want to explore! And while the Bible is absolutely meant to be read, it’s also meant to be experienced. God’s Word is alive, active, and full of wonders for kids to discover.
That’s why every story we teach, every song we sing, and every moment we share with your children is designed to help them explore the truth of the gospel in a way that sparks curiosity and anchors their hearts in God’s love.

We are committed to helping kids develop a deep understanding of the gospel and a personal relationship with Christ that shapes every part of their lives.
Through carefully chosen curriculum and age-appropriate teaching, we strive to build a rich theological foundation to guide them as they grow.
We also seek to cultivate a sense of belonging within the church, encouraging every child to discover their gifts and learn to serve alongside others.
We offer childcare for babies (0–18 months) and toddlers (18 months–2 years) during both the 9:00am worship service and the 10:45am equipping hour.
Our volunteers provide a nurturing environment where little ones are cared for, prayed over, and engaged in age-appropriate activities, allowing parents to fully participate in worship and ministry.

During the service, our preschoolers (3K/4K) attend their Sunday School class, exploring God’s Word through the Bible Studies for Life curriculum with lessons designed specifically for their age and stage.
Afterward, during the equipping hour, they enjoy playtime, real-aloud books, and opportunities to build friendships with their classmates.

Our K–3rd graders begin each Sunday worshiping alongside their families at the start of the service before heading off with their teachers to Children’s Church. There, they explore The Gospel Project, a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study that helps kids discover how every part of Scripture points to Jesus.
The kids also look forward to story time with Mr. Anderson, who shares real-life missionary adventures that show how God is at work around the world and spark excitement and a love for global missions.

Our 4th and 5th graders remain in the service with their families, where they engage with the sermon by taking notes in customized workbooks designed for them.
Following the service, they gather for their own equipping class to review and discuss what they learned. This intentional format invites students to ask thoughtful, challenging questions and to wrestle with deeper truths as they grow in their faith and understanding.

During the 10:45am equipping hour, our K–3rd graders stay in their classroom for Kids Choir, where they learn songs, play games, share their hearts, and creatively prepare programs to uplift our church family and surrounding community. At 11:00am, our 4th and 5th graders walk down from their equipping class to join in for the final 30 minutes.
In the spring, the kids present three programs - one at the Berkshire Senior Community in Greendale, one at the Forest Ridge Senior Community in Hales Corners, and one for our own senior saints at Redeemer. In the winter, the kids joyfully celebrate the birth of Christ with a Christmas program and cookie social!

Our Praise Factory Kids Club meets on Sunday nights from 6:00pm–7:30pm and offers a fun, engaging environment filled with high-energy games, music, hands-on activities, Bible lessons, and memory verses. Each week is designed to help kids grow in their relationship with God and understanding of His Word while building meaningful friendships and a strong sense of belonging.
While our Sunday morning Children’s Church follows a three-year chronological journey through the Bible, Praise Factory takes a complementary approach by focusing on systematic theology. This helps children understand what the Bible teaches as a whole about key doctrines, expanding their exposure beyond story-based lessons and strengthening their biblical foundation.

Come and enjoy a drop-in playgroup for moms and caregivers and their young children every Wednesday from 9:00am-11:00am! This group is open to all ladies with young children at home, whether they attend Redeemer or not.

All volunteers must have regularly attended Redeemer Church for at least six months before serving in children’s ministry, and are required to complete an online application, provide references, and undergo a background check.
Volunteers also participate in an orientation and classroom walk-through with our children’s ministry director to become familiar with policies, procedures, and expectations.
